"onomatopel", Singer/Songwriter Laura Yokozawa and pianist Takuto Kudo had released their first EP in 2017.
The music is pop based on folklore and picture books, influenced by stories of Kenji Miyazawa and Japanese folk tales, the music is based on musicals, Jazz, Classic, Cinemas.

The 1st album “Story of Kuvera coverage (Tsubera Kobera Monogatari)” was featured in Tower Records booklet “JAZZ THE STARS”.

Their life work involves connecting and spreading the regional stories, culture, and people through songs and pictures inspired by indigenous cultures, folk tales, and fables from around Japan.
The characters in their songs are mostly non-human. Soil, water, the spirit of trees, funny monsters across Japan, the spirit of the clock, galaxy, fireflies, and the newest one is about the coronavirus, the base of the songwriting is “cycle of earth/life”.
